Flame Retardant FR-NT200

Flame Retardant FR-NT200 is a low-halogen specific flame retardant for polypropylene (PP), developed specifically for PP. Depending on the base material used by customers, the product can achieve the flame retardancy rating of UL94 V-2 (0.8mm, 1.6mm). This product is compatible with general color masterbatches and is also suitable for various flame retardant modifications with fillers such as talc, barium sulfate (preferably within 10%, without calcium carbonate). In addition to being easy to process, it also features high flame retardancy efficiency, good flowability, light and heat stability, and resistance to migration under normal conditions. It is an ideal high-efficiency, low-cost flame retardant system for polypropylene materials.

Application Scope
Suitable for the outer shells of heaters, heater impellers, air blowers, power strips, coil frames, polypropylene and polypropylene fiber spinning, etc.
Recommended Dosage
For homopolymer PP, generally add 1%.
For some copolymer PP, adding 3-5% can achieve UL94 V-2 grade.
(Must be operated with virgin material, generally works better with homopolymer, can also be used simultaneously with homopolymer and copolymer, pure copolymer needs to be added to 3-5%. The processing temperature should not be too high, between 160-220℃ is more appropriate. This product can also provide flame retardant masterbatches for easier use.)
Packaging, Storage, and Precautions
Store in a dry, ambient temperature environment, strictly prevent moisture and heat. Paper-plastic kraft paper bags, 20 kilograms/bag.
