Non-systemic insecticide which penetrates leaf tissues by translaminar movement.
Emamectin benzoate is a macrocyclic insecticide found to be stable aqueous hydrolysis. Avermectin B1 can be the starting material synthesizing emamectin benzoate. It can be used as insecticide or acaricide for vegetables, fruits and cereals.
